What is Office 365?
Office 365 is an online suite for e-mail, documents, collaboration and communication. Depending on your subscription you may receive a subset or all of the following functionalities:
Outlook and Exchange for e-mail, calendar and contacts; Office 2013 and Web Apps to create documents; SkyDrive and SharePoint to store, sync and share documents and information; Lync for chat, voice/video conversations and conferencing.
Office 365 is powered by the cloud. This means you can access your applications and files from practically any computer or mobile device with an internet connection and they are always up to date. The updates to features are also provided automatically.
In this traiing you will learn the basics of Office 365. You will learn how to access and use this Cloud Service. You will also learn how to set up Office 365 on your PC, Mac and/or mobile devices.
Structure of the training
This training contains… Instruction videos; Recaps, which are summaries of the video material; Simulations to practice your new skills.
Subjects
In this training you will learn... insight into what Office 365 is; what Office 365 can be used for; what the benefits of Office 365 are; how to access Office 365; how to set up Office 365 on their PC, Mac and/or mobile devices.
Prerequisites
You don't need any special education to follow this training. The software is not included in this e-learning course.
Duration
The training Office 365 Basics consists of 16 lessons. You can follow a lesson in about 10 to 15 minutes. There are also several simulation exercises. The total duration is about four hours for studying the material. This may be more or less depending on existing knowledge and your study method.
